As of the beginning of 2019, NECB 2017 and NBC 9.36 are in force in Saskatchewan. This means most new larger buildings will require building energy simulation. If you need help with building simulation, contact us!
The HPNC program has been discontinued, as of March 31, 2019. Additional information can be found on the Save On Energy Website. Applications that have already been pre-approved will continue and must be completed by December 2020.
The Ontario Ministry of Municipal Affairs has published several tools to assist with SB-10 compliance. These include checklists, an Ontario-specific version of COMcheck, and energy modelling guidelines. Caneta developed the base document for the energy modelling guidelines.
